Ms. Siske Joanne serves as the Trademark Paralegal Team Leader at Januar Jahja and Partners (JJP). With more than nine years of experience in the field, Siske leads a group of highly skilled paralegals in handling all aspects of client work related to trademark prosecution.

Siske has particular expertise and experience in trademark portfolio management, trademark clearance searches, preparing and submitting trademark applications for registration before the Indonesian IP Office (DJKI), renewing trademark registrations, and attending to recordals/updates of trademark data, among others.

Being named Team Leader is a recognition of Siske’s meticulous record-keeping, tracking of critical deadlines, and maintaining open lines of communication with clients to ensure that their trademark requirements are met in an efficient and timely manner.

Siske’s journey into the world of intellectual property law is marked by her passion for detail, a strong educational foundation, and a diverse career background that enriches her approach to her role. Siske’s early career experiences in education, administration, and secretarial roles have imbued her with a unique skill set. Her academic background has not only sharpened her communication and research skills but has also instilled in her the importance of attention to detail and thorough documentation. Her time in administration has honed her detail-oriented skills. In her capacity as a secretary, she developed discipline and organizational capabilities of her role today.
