Ms. Eva Dewi Kartika is an associate and Trademark Team Leader at Januar Jahja and Partners (JJP). Eva handles both contentious and non-contentious IP matters and her practice focuses on IP litigation infringement actions, online takedowns, and warning letters, as well as non-contentious matters such as trademark prosecution, oppositions, and appeals.

As Trademark Team Leader, Eva is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s trademark prosecution practice as well as actively advising on and participating in the firm’s representation of clients in litigation. Her dedication and expertise have not gone unnoticed, as her contributions have been acknowledged by reputable publications like Legal 500, which recognized her as a Recommended Individual in 2023, and IP Stars (2023), which named her a “Rising Star”.

Additionally, she is an engaged participant in international IP circles, attending various conferences such as those held by the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA); she is also an active member of the Indonesian Intellectual Property Rights Consultant Association (AKHKI), contributing to the development and promotion of intellectual property rights in Indonesia.

Eva obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Tarumanagara University and her Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law from University of Indonesia. Prior to joining JJP, Eva practiced at another prominent law firm in Jakarta, where her practice focused on assisting clients in litigation matters.
