Mrs. Prudence Jahja, managing partner of Januar Jahja and Partners (JJP), has been named one of the Top 250 Women in IP for 2020 by Managing IP, as well as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Indonesia by Asia Business Law Journal, together serving as only the latest recognition that she is one of the brightest IP lawyers in the country.
The MIP Top 250 Women publication “recognises some of the senior female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.” Covering more than 30 jurisdictions, Mrs. Jahja is one of only three women from Indonesia included in the list. Mrs. Jahja was also named one of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers for the second year in a row. Asia Law Business Journal’s “A-List 2020: Indonesia” is based on “extensive research conducted and nominations received from in-house counsel based in Indonesia and elsewhere, as well as Indonesia-focused partners at international law firms based outside the country.” One of only six individuals on the list focusing on intellectual property law, Mrs. Jahja is the only woman from that group.
