Januar Jahja and Partners Named 2020 Prosecution Firm of the Year for Indonesia by Managing IP

[:en]Januar Jahja and Partners (JJP) has been recognized by Managing IP as the “Prosecution Firm of the Year” for Indonesia in 2020. Announced as part of the Managing IP Asia Awards 2020, the awards seek to recognize “remarkable achievements and developments in the past year.”

Historically known as an IP litigation shop, Januar Jahja and Partners has made great strides in the recent past in its prosecution of trademark, patent, copyright, and industrial design applications. As part of its prosecution services, the firm has particular experience in overcoming initial rejections of and/or third party oppositions to trademark applications, as well as successful appeals of final rejections to the Trademark Appeal Commission. On the patent side, the firm’s volume and client base has grown considerably in the past few years, and the firm has considerable experience guiding patent and utility model applications through to grant.
