
Januar Jahja & Partners (JJP) has been ranked Tier 1 in the Intellectual Property category for Indonesia in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2026 rankings. The firm is listed among the highest-ranked practices in the jurisdiction for its intellectual property work.
According to Legal 500, “Januar Jahja & Partners is home to a team of intellectual property specialists that receives mandates from international technology conglomerates, entertainment sector clients and domestic commercial entities.” The publication highlighted JJP’s work in securing the involuntary transfer of two Indonesian domain names to ETS, where the domain names were found to intentionally mislead consumers in relation to the TOEFL trademark. Legal 500 also identified BYD Company Limited and Warner Bros. Entertainment Co. as key clients of the firm.
In this edition, four members of the firm are recognized individually: Prudence Jahja (Managing Partner) as “Hall of Fame”; Andrew Diamond (Foreign IP Consultant) as “Leading Partner”; Juanitasari Winaga (IP Consultant) as “Next Generation Partner”; and Eva Dewi Kartika (Trademark Associate) as “Leading Associate”. The publication notes that “Prudence Jahja spearheads the team and has leveraged her wealth of disputes experience in building a strong track record in the litigation space.” Legal 500 also highlights Andrew Diamond’s focus on patent matters and his regular representation of clients before the Indonesian Appeals Commission. In addition, Juanitasari Winaga is recognized for her role in intellectual property portfolio management, including facilitating large-scale trademark transfers across different teams within international client operations. Eva Dewi Kartika and John Frederick are also noted as part of the firm’s intellectual property team.
