Personal Info

Alen Aliansyah is an Associate in the Trademark Team at Januar Jahja and Partners. His practice currently focuses on both contentious and non-contentious trademark matters, such as clearance searches, drafting warning letters, handling trademark oppositions, and addressing objections against preliminary rejections, as well as handling rebuttals, appeals, and overseeing online takedown procedures.

As a licensed attorney, Mr. Aliansyah also has extensive litigation experience, including on trademark cancellation actions. Prior to joining JJP, he worked for another respected IP firm in Jakarta, and he recently achieved his Master’s of Law degree from University of Indonesia in 2022.

Mr. Aliansyah’s passion extends beyond his everyday work, as he actively participates in IP events that aim to increase awareness among small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia. Through these events, he not only strengthens the firm’s presence in the IP community but also contributes to the development of the IP landscape in the country.

During his leisure time, Mr. Aliansyah is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle such as running and weight lifting as he finds those exercises teach him how to be disciplined. Furthermore, he also spends his time reading books and news.
