Ms. Kerin Marbun is a patent specialist at Januar Jahja and Partners. With an educational background in Architecture Engineering, she mainly assists with matters related to the substantive examination of patent applications, such as responses to office actions or third-party oppositions, appeals, and motions for reinstatement, among others.

Ms. Marbun has over five years of experience in the field and has experience working on patents for many different industries, including medical devices, consumer goods, and industrial products. Prior to joining JJP, she worked for another IP firm in Indonesia where she spent three years handling and filing patent applications. Her responsibilities included reviewing patent specifications, reporting and responding to Office Actions, as well as providing information and knowledge to the clients on patent prosecution matters.

Apart from her work in the field of IP, Ms. Marbun channels her creativity into cooking, baking, and yoga. She believes in a healthy lifestyle that includes both delicious food and exercise.
