Januar Jahja and Partners was founded on 14 September 1986 as a boutique practice focused exclusively on intellectual property. Over the past 40 years, the Firm has grown from a small team into a thriving practice of more than 50 professionals, providing award-winning services covering all aspects of IP practice for both domestic and international clients.

The Firm was built on the work and leadership of Mr. Januar Jahja. In the early 1990s, the team numbered around six people. Since then, the Firm has grown to include specialists and support staff to meet the growing needs of clients and the changing IP environment in Indonesia.

Reaching 40 years would not have been possible without the people who have been part of that journey. We are grateful to our clients for the trust they have placed in us, and to our colleagues for the knowledge, dedication, and care they have brought to their work.
