Kevin Monteverdi is a junior associate at Januar Jahja and Partners, specializing in both non-contentious and contentious trademark matters.

He has experience guiding clients through the entire trademark prosecution process, including conducting preliminary searches, providing pre-filing advice to avoid potential issues, drafting objections to initial rejections and appeals of final rejections, as well as managing clients’ trademark portfolios.

On the contentious side, Mr. Monteverdi’s current practice includes drafting oppositions, cease-and-desist letters, online takedown requests for infringing goods, and negotiating with counterparties towards a resolution of infringement situations.

Mr. Monteverdi graduated from Universitas Padjajaran in 2021 with a focus on intellectual property law. There, he actively participated in legal societies like the IP & ICT Law Society and the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) LC Unpad, as well as National Moot Court Competitions.

Outside of work, Mr. Monteverdi enjoys playing basketball.
